In 2022, over 12,000 Prince Georgians demonstrated support for Ashley’s plan to ensure access to a quality education in every corner of the county.

Issues surrounding education intersect with and mimic many community issues and drive Ashley’s desire to lead and deliver results. As your At-District 6 Board of Education representative, Ashley will focus on:

• Closing Gaps so that no group of students is invisible and progress becomes non-negotiable.

• Raising Expectations where benchmarks are aligned, clear and accessible.

• Supporting Educators by demonstrating respect with pay, meaningful development, and a laser focus on effectiveness at all levels.

• Protecting Students through consistent practices that expand mental health and social-emotional supports.

• Ensuring Transparency with communication and monitoring systems and structures.
